Advertising Report Card ("ARC", "we", "us") runs advertisingreportcard.com and provides advertising, search and web services. This policy explains what personal information we hold and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Details you send us: name, business name, email address, phone number, web address and monthly ad spend when you request a report card or contact us.
- Information you share for a report card: read only access to advertising accounts, and the reports generated from them.
- Technical information from your visit: IP address, browser and device type, the page you arrived from, and the pages you viewed.
Why we use it
- To build and explain your report card, and to reply to your enquiry.
- To provide services you have asked us to run.
- To send you information you have asked for. Marketing email only where you have agreed to it, and every message has an unsubscribe link.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, such as our email provider, our customer relationship system and our advertising platforms, and only as far as needed to do that work. We may disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights.
Cookies and measurement
This site uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies to measure how pages are used. You can block or delete them in your browser settings; the site still works without them.
How long we keep it
Enquiry details are kept while we are in contact and for up to three years afterwards, so we can answer a later question. Report card files are kept for two years unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Accounting records are kept as long as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. You can also ask us to stop contacting you. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within thirty days.
Security
Access to client accounts and files is limited to the people working on them, and credentials are held in an encrypted store. No system is completely secure, so we monitor access and review it regularly. If a breach affects your information, we will tell you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
Children
Our services are for businesses and are not directed at anyone under sixteen. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be noted on this page.
